Southall Crown Post Office provides essential services for many in the local community. For the elderly, those who don’t have internet access, and those who don’t speak English as a first language, it’s a vital resource. Many still bank, pay their bills and transfer money there, and rely on postal services to communicate. So the assistance provided at the post office can often be a lifeline.
Yet the Crown Post Office is proposing to close the Southall branch. Ealing Labour opposes the closure of this community asset and calls upon the Council to stand up for Southall Crown Post office and write to the Post Office Chief Executive, Nick Read.
