Kamaldeep Sahota has served as a councillor in Lady Margaret ward since 2018. She has lived in the ward for her entire life and went to Durdans Park Primary School and Greenford High School.
Having built her life in Southall, Kamaldeep has felt immensely proud to give back to the community that made her. Kamaldeep is passionate about standing up for those often underrepresented in local politics, such as young people, women and those from ethnic minorities. She wants to continue using her voice for those who are less spoken for and is dedicated to delivering local change for the area.
