Ranjit Dheer

Ranjit Dheer initially stood as a councillor in Ealing in 1982, and has been a continuously serving councillor since 1996.
Ranjit has a strong track record as a community champion after decades of service to Southall. As chair of the Southall charter, he led on improvement schemes such as Southall Boulevard, the Great Streets programme, new shopfronts and the renovation of Southall Manor House. He has also delivered road safety schemes across Dormers Wells. He received an OBE in 2018 as part of the Queen’s New Years Honours for service to local government.
