Binda Rai was first elected in 2014 and is proud to represent the people of Walpole Ward and Ealing, where she’s lived, worked and raised her family.
As Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, Binda made a huge contribution to education whilst overseeing 95% of schools being rated ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED. Binda played a key role in Ealing’s response to the COVID pandemic, including rolling out the vaccination programme, as Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Public Health.
