Grace Quansah (aka ‘Akuba’) has lived in Ealing since 1968 and has been a community champion for several years. Dedicated to empowering marginalised young people and helping them develop their writing and diverse creative skills, Grace founded WAPPY, which has helped hundreds of young people, and, since the pandemic, has built on local partnerships with libraries and schools, especially through Ealing Learning Partnership. She runs regular WAPPY workshops including at West Ealing Library and previously at St John’s Church, and has delivered storytelling workshops and tours at Walpole Park.
